Healthy gluten free seed snacks for this busy school term
With half term over, this time of year can become a blur of end of term shows, musical moments, and karate exhibitions. How can you satiate your kid’s hunger while keeping an eye on the health credentials of their snacks, as you rush from one rehearsal or award ceremony to another?
We have you covered with this tricky conundrum. With an eye on children’s nutrition our seed snacks are a healthy alternative that work well in many situations. We have 5 flavours, and one has won a Great Taste award, so most tastes should be covered. Eaten alone out of the pack, they satisfy on taste as well as hunger, due to their high protein content.
Each ingredient has been carefully chosen for the taste punch they pack, and being free from the top 14 allergens, you can take them into school or public places, without any worries or concerns.
Our seed snacks are not covered with any flavouring powders, and are low salt and low sugar, so that snowman costume you spent hours making won’t get streaks of grease or other mucky finger marks on it!
Seed snacks are a healthy alternative that can be eaten on their own and are also great for dipping. Nut butters, hummus, or any other favourite spread, can be teamed with one of the 3 savoury varieties or 2 sweet ones. All this with no added sugar of any kind so perfect for weight management and to support a balanced diet. The only source of sweetness in the seed snacks comes from pure apple puree and chicory root fibre that is used to bind the seed and flour mix.
So, as you rush around, make sure you take a variety of our seed snacks with you to fill up your kids, and add a pack or two for yourself as well. After all there is no point in the ‘parent chauffeur/chaperone’ getting irritable and angry. Seed snacks are just about the perfect treat for everyone!
